I had run away from the school, I couldn't help it, I couldn't stay pissed like this or at least that was what I had been planning to do. Someone or something was watching, I felt it. I than saw it for myself what it was. There were about five red fledglings how they had entered this protected school or what I thought was a protected school was beyond me. I tried to blink and figure out what the heck had happened.

I was walking out of the building as I as I heard something out of the ordinary,I frowned abit and kept walking trying to ignore that I was being watched.I picked up my pace as I heard foot steps,like there was more than one person following me.
I looked behind me and saw nothing,maybe I was just imagining stuff,I thought as I walked on,my pace slowing down again.I hummed a soft tune but it didn't go far when I was jumped,I let out a scream and fell to the ground trying to westle the thing off me.

I looked up when I heard the scream. I didn't know what was going on, red fledglings than I remembered. I ran into the school and tried to figure out where the noise had come from.
"Goddess guide me to the one I seek" I looked up and turned just in time to see "Lenobia?" It was not a statement more a question. I had read about her from the books, the horse mistress and a very close friend to Zoey. How was she here, was I insane, wait, hadn't I asked this before? nothing like this should be happening.
Without knowing what I was doing I called out
"Fire, I need you, come and protect Lenobia and shield her!" to my relief, and surprise I felt fire come all around me, candle burning sensation washed over me. Than I suddenly realized, that I should not have known her name. I ran to her. "are you all right?" I than focused on the kids. "Wind, come to me, take them away from her, from me in my Goddess' name I call you to me" the wind blew the red fledglings away.

I looked up at the young girl,"Y-yes I'm okay,"I said softly,I frowned as I looked at the kids,"Red fledglings..."I frowned deeper,"I thought they had their humanity back?"I looked at the young girl again,"anyways thank you,I'm Lenobia and you are?"I asked her.
I stood up and wipped my jeans off,I looked around and asked,"where am I?"

"Still at the House of Night...although you are nowhere near your stables...although hang on a sec...you're not fine not all the way" I went to her side and dropped so that my hand reached out to her wrists, one of the red fledglings had apparently tried to either bite it off or scratch it off. A glow from my hands I smiled as the marks went away. "Sapphire, my name is Sapphire" i said realizing that my asian accent showed more than I wanted it to. "and i know who you are"

I took my hand and made a fist and bowed showing the Vampyre's sign of respect. But how could I tell this professor this fictional vamp that was not even supposed to be here, what I really knew. I shook my head and decided to say something else to explain my knowing her, she was good with horses, she was known in the Vampyre World for it. "uh, you are a horse mistress, I know you because of that...I...someone else I knew was marked and she knew you" I said hastily.

I smiled softly and bowed back with my fist over my heart,"I see,and what's this young fledgling's name ?"I asked as I fixed my shirt abit.
I looked at her and smiled as I getsured for her to walk with me.

I followed her, didn't hesitate there was no reason to do so. "um...long, long story...Stevie Rae, Aphrodite LaFont, Damian and the twins and...oh goddess...this shouldn't be happening" I fell to my knees. I was not rejecting the change I knew that, I wasn't bleeding or coughing but I felt so light headed.

I knelt down beside her,"What is my dear?"I asked her,watching her carefully.I frowned and checked if she had a fever or any sign that she could be sick and could reject the change.I couldn't find any sign of it.

I lost all sense of me and burst into tears. I grasped Lenobia begging her with my tear filled eyes to understand me. I looked up and said. "Please understand me, I have to...I can't be the only one that knows...this is insane" I begged her as I gripped her hand for all I was worth.

I couldn't lie to her, she had to know. I sighed. "I think it's an affeinty although i don't know how this is possible, I'm going to sound really, really crazy...you aren't supposed to be here, this isn't Tulsa, this is in fact Pennsylvania...you are not...real I know I'm marked but that's not supposed to be real either" I sighed as I looked at her and going on. I ripped my bag from the back of me where I had been carrying it, I opened the zipper and dumped books out. The books, the House of Night books. "You all are a part of this story, trust me...Zoey is it's Zoey's life story....I...I...somehow fiction mixed with reality...I don't know how the fudge it happened" what I really wanted to say was the f word but I did not feel like swearing in front of Lenobia. I would leave her to draw her own conclusions. "Magic and reality collided, please understand I'm NOT crazy...something's happened" I sobbed all over again.

I looked threw the book as I kept one arm around the sobbing child,I frowned,"So it seems,"I whispered putting the book down I wipped her tears,"your not crazy... something has happened,magic."I said.

She wasn't flipping on me. i remembered from the books that she was good with horses and horses chose people that were calm she was not calm as the other horse mistress on Sanclewherever island but she was one of the calmer presence in Zoey's life and now, in mine. "H-Help me figure this out, I can't do this by myself...magic happened and I don't know how or why" I said only then did I realize she might see my wrists, my cut wrists the injuries I had done to myself. I tried to pull away but something, maybe someone the Goddess, held my hand in there and deep in my heart I knew that she might want Lenobia to see what I'd done to myself.
