"I'm NOT your daughter anymore you gave that up the second you started to mess with me, you had your chance to love and protect me and you ruined it!" Sapphire screamed at her former parents. She had met them, big mistake on her part on their insistence that they wanted to try and talk it out. She would allowed to be back in her school soon. Instead what they had done was trap her, she had been here for half a day and she knew if she didn't go back she'd be dead. Just as the stories had been told in the books, a fledgling needed an adult vamp to survive, someone who had completed the change.
Trapped in the house, not knowing how to get out, the teenage girl started breaking things her parents tried to restrain her all she did was kick them, she was ticked.

I drove , heading to the adress I had been given. Nyx had chosen this girl named ... I didn´t remember the name in that moment. Anyways she had been marked and my mission was to bring her to the House of night. I had an odd feeling this girl was going to accomplish great things, but I didn´t know why.

I stopped the car as I arrived to the house. I looked at it for a moment . Then I climbed out , I walked to the porch and rang the bell.
If her parents were hard to deal with, I would use one of my powers, to get her fastly out of there.

Either passed out or just sleeping my parents weren't paying me any attention. I went slowly towards the door and opened it. "Who are you?" I asked as I instantly felt stronger. I looked at him, taking in his appearance and who he was, a Vamp I was safe.

I looked at her "I´m Curian . I´ll help you . First of all: Let´s get you out of here" I said , pointing toward my car. I hoped she she wasn´t a spoiled teenager, like those ones really hard to manage with.

"How I found you is a secret" I whispered . "Okay, let´s get going, we don´t have time to waste" I added . "Is there anything you´d like to bring , like any important thing you own or anything?" I asked knowing how some teenagers were.

I looked into his eyes an sighed. "no...I don't own crap in this place hold a sec" I went over and went into my room. I than brought a single bag and inside the bag was what looked like a tape player with a bunch of tape like things inside. I lifted the heavy thing easily. "now, lets go"

"Let me help you with that " I offered , that looked heavy for her. Not that I thought she was weak, but she seemed so delicate and doll like. I stretched my hand , so she would hand me the bag .

"it's only cartridges and all it's fine I've carried it for years you need to hear when you really cannot see...my marking helped my vision a little but...that's a whole long other story come on lets get the hell out of this hellhole" I said as i went into his car and took the passenger seat and hugged my cartridge player bag to my chest.

"Okay" I nodded, letting her carry that. I climbed in the car and buckled up. I started the car "You can turn on the radio if you want" I wanted to ask her when had she been marked ? but I decided it would be better to do the questioning later.

"better idea" I took out the cartridge player which looked like a normal cassette player and pressed play. The story I had been listening to titled the Summoning started to play. "music's a piece of crap" I told him as I lost myself in the story.

"As you say" I whispered and listened to the story. It was interesting, despite I wasn´t really into stories, books or fairytales. "How many of them you have?" I asked curiously as I drove.
I wasn´t driving as fastly as I normally do, I didn´t want to freak her out.
